Maintains a Moist Wound Environment

3M Tegaderm Film Dressing protects the skin, secures devices to the skin, and maintains a moist wound environment for proper healing. It creates a waterproof, yet breathable barrier to protect against contaminants including bacteria, viruses, blood, and bodily fluids. It is made of hypoallergenic material not made with natural rubber latex to prevent additional skin irritation.

Accurate Placement with Picture Frame Design

The 3M Tegaderm Film Dressing is designed with a picture frame border for accurate and easy placement in a medical office, training center, or home care setting. The microporous film allows a moisture vapor and oxygen exchange to promote healing. The adhesive is gentle on the skin and provides exceptional hold in moist conditions and difficult-to-dress areas. The dressing flexes on any part of the body for greater patient comfort.

Suitable for a Variety of Applications

The transparent film dressing can be used for a variety of applications. It can be used to cover and protect I.V. catheter sites, for skin protection, to hold feeding tubes in place, over superficial partial thickness burns, or after tattoo application or removal. The 3M dressing is available in four sizes from 2-3/8" x 2-3/4" to 6" x 8".
