Helps increase knee extension following CVA, surgery, injury or neurological problems. Works like serial casting, allowing for gradual and progressive extension in 5° increments. Unique patented goniometer can be set within a desired range of flexion or extension, or can be locked at any desired degree. The goniometer is easily set using the included Allen Wrench, which is conveniently stored under the orthosis cover. Cuffs easily adjust and re-adjust. Padded for extra comfort and support with no exposed metal parts. Soft dark blue broadcloth material is machine washable (laundry bag included). Foam-lined straps stretch to accommodate fluctuations in edema. Antimicrobial surface protector creates an invisible shield to reduce infection, skin breakdown and maceration Navy broadcloth cover. Latex free.
