The Foot WAFFLE Heel Elevator is intended for use preventing and treating stage 1-4 pressure ulcers and deep tissue injuries. It is designed to float the heel while sustaining the integrity of the foot and ankle. Made from non-abrasive medical-grade vinyl that permits movement without resistance.
Venting Holes Allow Circulation
The air-filled straps and foot pad offer pressure ulcer prevention, treatment and comfort. The heel flap helps limit foot rotation while ensuring proper suspension of the heel above the resting surface. Specially designed venting holes allow air circulation to keep the area cool and dry.
One Size Fits Most
The heel elevator can be used conveniently at home and on OR tables, stretchers, ICU beds, wheelchairs, and general ward beds. Not recommended for ambulation, the product comes in one size and fits most patients. The hook and loop closures provide quick application and adjustment for a secure fit.
