Multi-Ply ShearCare 1500 Mattresses feature multilayered pressure reduction that meets federal fire code regulation. The top cover is a four-way stretch nylon to reduce friction and heat buildup. The cover is waterproof and antimicrobial with a concealed zipper. (Series 6500 Variable Density Sleep System)
The 1500 mattress has a pressure reduction foam and is built to provide maximum pressure reduction for high-risk bariatric patients. Top layer is constructed of the high reliant/high density die-cut foam Lura-Quilt. It is aerated to allow air to continuously pass through reducing heat buildup in heel area.
