On August 18th, 2021, the FDA issued a recall and quarantine for all Eco-Med Pharmaceutical ultrasound gel and lotion products, and directed an immediate discontinued use of these products, due to risk of bacterial contamination with Burkholderia cepacia complex (Bcc).
