- The new Shields II™ Knee Brace is low profile, lightweight and more breathable while maintaining the multi-use features of the original proven Shields™ brace.
- Both models feature thinner Kuhl™ neoprene material that is 1/16" (1.4mm) thick, making it low profile to increase breathability.
- Low profile Trakaderm™ U-shaped buttress, allows for treatment of multiple patella indications by adjusting the buttress to the symptomatic contact point no matter the malalignment. A directional force flap holds the buttress in place against the patella.
- Independent calf and thigh straps adjust for contours of the leg.
- Available in Regular and Hinged models.
- The Regular model contains medial and lateral spiral stays prevent bunching, while allowing full range of motion.
- The Hinged model contains removable bi-axial hinges providing additional medial and lateral stability. The back popliteal panel is made from a sueded lycra fabric for maximum comfort and breathability.
- Braces fit both left and right.
