Specifially for a bariatric wheelchair, the cushion is made with 3-1/2" thick water-based gel with a high-density foam underneath. The gel keeps skin cool while reliving pressure, and the foam prevents bottoming out. Made from low shear fabric, the outer cover reduces friction and skin-damage and is washable. The inner cover is vinyl, incontinent-proof, and wipes clean.
