To be placed on a bed or chair, the pad is placed under the user and programmed to a CordLess monitor. When pressure is removed from the pad, a wireless signal is sent to the monitor to alert the caregiver. The floor mat are placed near the bed side or in a doorway. If the user gets out of bed or tries to leave the room, pressure is applied to the mat. A signal is then sent to the caregiver.
