Adjustable components allow quick placement of individual digits into proper 90° line of pull.
- Use for fabrication of dynamic splints.
- Indications: Post radial nerve injuries and post MCP arthroplasty, fixed bony contractures, or unstable fracture conditions.
- The preformed outrigger wire frame follows the arch of the hand and can be attached to the thermoplastic splint base (not included).
- Two outrigger frames are included and can be fitted to any size hand.
- The adjuster piece mounts onto the outrigger frame to hold the extension rod. Joint position is adjusted by rotating the adjuster piece and extension rod alignment.
- Each extension rod can be shortened or lengthened to accommodate different fingers and joints.
- Rod ends act as line guides so each respective finger loop holds the digit in correct alignment.
- Thermoplastic and straps sold separately. Additional replacement parts also are available. Latex free.
