The Orfit Colors NS Precuts Complete Thumb Splint is intended for acute cases. The dorsal part at the level of the thumb prevents hyperextension of the distal phalanx. This part can be easily cut away when necessary. Orfit Colors NS material offers a selection of bright colors that appeal to patients of all ages. Its color can boost patient morale, and improve compliance with splint wear. Its material has a non-stick coating that allows for temporary bonding during application. Permanent bonding is possible by removing the coating and using dry heat. This material is offered in unique metallic colors, or a painter's palette of colors and has a high gloss, shiny finish.
