A dorsal wrist orthosis immobilizes the wrist without requiring a wrist strap; restricting motion, providing pain relief, joint alignment, and functional support. The splint design features a Palmar bar that protects the metacarpals and prevents distal splint migration. It is customized to the patient by trimming and heating at the appropriate temperature to shape to the wrist.
