The Rolyan PIP Ligament Repair Splint allows active PIP flexion and extension, yet limits radial and ulnar deviation of the PIP joint. The polycentric hinge helps to prevent distal migration of the splint during flexion. The splint is ideal for injuries such as sprains and strains and for repair of partial collateral ligament tears. It can also be used post-operatively for PIP protection. Low-gauge padded aluminum can be modified using pliers. For dynamic flexion, add rubber bands on the volar side (not included).
