Rolyan SoftStrap Strapping Material

Rolyan SoftStrap Strapping Material is soft, non-stretchable strapping material with sealed side edges. Composed on both sides of loop fabric laminated to foam, SoftStrap mates with both standard and HTH hooks to create secure yet adjustable strapping. The strapping material is a ¼-inch thick and comes in a choice of widths ranging from ½ inch, 1 inch, 1 ½ inches, 2 inches, and 6 inches.

Five-Layer Laminate of Hook-Compatible Nylon Fabric

The splinting material is composed of a five-layer laminate of hook-compatible nylon fabric, open-cell polyurethane foam, and a central stabilizing layer with a self-sealing edge. The sealing edge provides long-lasting durability, and won’t unravel or catch on other fabrics or edges during use. Compatible with most splinting materials, the hook-and-loop strapping can be applied to the splinting material by customizing a 'wraparound loop' that the user can adjust when needed.

Recommended for Edema and Hypersensitive Skin

SoftStrap conforms anatomically without over-tightening, and is recommended where edema or hypersensitive skin is a problem. The open-cell polyurethane foam acts as a protective cushioning for inflamed, swollen, or painful areas. The beige strapping closure material can be used with clothing, to customize adaptive equipment, orthoses modification, and to help hold or secure objects such as casts and splints or wheelchair accessories together.
