Original Heel Float: Suspends the heel over air cavity for zero pressure. Provides complete pressure relief to prevent pressure sores from forming or to aid in the healing of existing ulcers. Water-based gel insert relieves ankle pressure. Soft, brushed fabric cover reduces skin shear and wicks away moisture. Hook and loop strips are sewn to fabric bands to prevent skin abrasion. Cushioned sides protect lateral and medial malleolus. New design closures eliminate skin contact with hook-and-loop straps. Latex free.
Heel Float II Walker Boot: Same features as the original Heel Float plus these features: waterproof, wipe-clean outer fabric; detachable tread pad to keep bed linens clean and aid infection control; plastic insert that maintains the foot at a 90° angle; and flexion-limiting side straps. Latex free.
Heel Float II Adjustable Walker Boot: Same features as the Heel Float II Walker Boot with the adjustability to accommodate plantar flexion contractures.
Heel Float Wipe-Clean:Features a low shear cover that protects against friction and shear. Intended for use in acute facilities that prefer a wipe-clean vs. a launder-able product.
Heel Float Plus: Zero pressure on heel, bunion and malleoli. Off-loads heel over air cavity. Cutouts eliminate pressure on lateral and medial malleoli. Foot band secures below bunions. Provides maximum air circulation. Water-based gel insert cools and lowers pressure under ankle. Prevents skin abrasion and foot drop. Extended foot support keeps blanket and sheet off toes. Cozy Cloth reduces friction and wicks away moisture.
