This gait therapy belt features a sturdy, chrome-plated buckle to ensure that the patient will remain safely strapped in during use. The 2” wide belt features a wide variety of lengths and the belt’s length adjusts to fit your patient snugly and securely. The adjustable ambulation gait belt also helps prevent caregivers from injuring themselves while assisting another. Just make sure you are physically capable of supporting a patient before lifting or transferring them. Two people may be required to spot a patient safely.
Easy Clean Ambulation Belt
The smooth vinyl coating and seamless strap of the physical therapy support belt prevent the buildup of dirt and germs. It can easily be wiped down with non-Phenol based cleaning products. Common compatible disinfectants used in clinics and medical settings include Ethyl -Alcohol based 60-95% solutions, Chlorine-based 4-6% solutions, Iodine-based 0.5-5% solutions, Quaternary Ammonia compounds of 2%, and Hydrogen Peroxide solutions of <3%.
