Optimize Ambulation
The Elite Pro AFO Rehabilitator uses an enhanced anterior shell and lateral strut to provide effective support to patients with greater ankle instability needs. A slightly rigid footplate provides a stable dorsi-assist to help improve balance and gait for patients with mid to mild foot drop. The lightweight foot support optimizes dynamic swing assist for reduced energy consumption while walking.
Lightweight Stability
The semi-flexible carbon fiber materials allow for greater flexibility during ambulation. The anterior shin cuff supports the patient with maximum stability while a lateral strut ensures effective support for ankle pronation and eversion. A removable tibial pad enhances comfort and offers pressure relief. The Elite Pro Rehabilitator can be adapted with an Elite Varus/Valgus Control Strap to reinforce more significant lower limb spasticity.
Superior Fit
The orthopedic support fits in most footwear without adjustments. The footplate can be trimmed as needed while the leg cuff is heat gun moldable for a secure fit around wider and narrower calves. The carbon fiber shell can be wiped clean with a damp cloth and it’s recommended to wash the cuff soft kit at least once a week.
