The five sections of the screen are attached to each other by a riveted hinge which allows the frame to fold smoothly and unfold as needed. The S-shaped base of each screen section on the frame also increases stability for use in busy environments. In economical vinyl or attractive designer fabrics, privacy screen panels are required to complete the screen. One panel is needed for each section and is secured by top and bottom snap-in rods.
