These Optokinetic (OKN) Banners are large enough to fill a patient's visual field. OKN Banners are used to produce involuntary Optokinetic Nystagmus (OKN) physiologic jerks in a patient’s eye. This is elicited when the patient attempts to fixate on moving stripes in the field of vision. The slow phase of nystagmus is in the direction of the movement of the flag while the fast phase is in the opposite direction.
Available in either Red & White or Black & White stripes. These flags are available with 1½" (4 cm) segments. Dowels are sewn into each end to provide vertical stability and make the Banner easy to use. Measures 27" wide x 10" high (68 cm x 25 cm).
