The overhead lift is the best possible mobility aid for moving a patient in today's nursing environment. When a facility or homeowner does not want to modify the existing building structure to install an overhead rail system, these free-standing gantries provide an easy and safe way to transfer a patient.
The Lena Freestand can lift 600 lbs. and be used to move patients from a bed, wheelchair, bath/shower and from the floor. The Niklas Portable Freestand has a quick and easy height and width adjustment and can be easily assembled by one person without tools. The Niklas comes with castors that can be unlocked enabling the system to be easily moved from room to room. It has a weight capacity of 485 lbs. and includes a carry bag so it can be transported.
Human Care offers high-quality Ceiling Lift Units (sold separately) that deliver a comfortable, safe transfer for both patient and caregiver. They can be used with 2, 3 or 4-point sling suspension which, in combination with the unique telescopic carry bar, provides increased sling comfort and adjustment according to every patient's needs.
