The TheraTouch CX4 can be used in combination with electrotherapy and ultrasound treatment using a four-channel therapy system. Users can adjust the intensity and parameter controls for each channel. The variance in energy transfer helps address diverse therapy needs for each individual using the device. The multi-patient function allows for treatment of up to 3 individuals at once.

Commonly used to relieve pain, the waveforms produced by the TheraTouch CX4 also improves joint range of motion, motor control, circulation, and muscle strength. Users can select stimulation waveforms from one of the eight waveforms: Interferential, Premodulated, TENS (Symmetrical Biphasic & Asymmetrical Biphasic), NMES, Russian, High Volt, Microcurrent, and RAAS. Rapid Agonist Antagonist Sequencing (RAAS) is a unique stimulation waveform that replicates the typical firing pattern of normal muscle contractions. The waveforms are designed to specifically improve weak and inhibited muscles following surgery, injury, or trauma.
