It prevents unwanted flexion or extension, yet allows unobstructed motion of the fingers. Built with a non-elastic circumferential design for easy application and for firm evenly, distributed pressure without restricting circulation. To clean: surface clean the outside of the leather splint/brace using saddle soap.
