This lifelike knee joint model has no equal in the industry. It is fully flexible and mimics the wide range of human movement. The knee joint displays extension, flexion, inside rotation, outside rotation and other movements including retroversion and lateral bending of the meniscus. All bones are cast from original human specimens, offering incredible detail in all skeletal elements, including how bones are rough and not smooth. Retroversion, internal/external rotation and lateral bending of the meniscus move to a suggested maximum of 20â–‘. This model features the lower portion of the femur, upper portion of the tibia and patella. It offers extension and flexion movement up to 90â–‘ and thanks to its superb craftsmanship, that continuation of flexibility is ensured even after years of use. The model is mounted on a stand yet is removable as individual structures of the knee are easily viewed and identified for advanced study.
