Cast from a real human specimen, this pelvis with lumbar spine and muscles is an incredibly accurate representation not previously seen. It features a male pelvis, lumbar vertebrae, spinal nerves, and the superficial, deep and deeper muscles of the lumbar spine and back. Made from high-quality material, the muscles, tissue and ligaments are carefully portrayed. The iliac wing is flexibly attached to the sacrum, allowing for natural movement. This model includes the spinal cord and spinal nerve ends, including the tiny interosseous muscles. Individual muscular attachments are numbered and matched to the included key. The model may be removed from the base for closer study as well as to demonstrate the movement of the basin joint.
