The Shuttle Balance is a safe "unstable" platform that enables rehabilitation for stroke, vestibular and neurological patients. It also works well as a core/proprioceptive strength training exerciser for the elite athlete. Not just for athletes and rehab, this unit can also aid in providing seniors the confidence to avoid falls. The "unstable" non-slip balance platform activates and strengthens muscles used for stability while adjustable suspension chains modify the balance platform height, degree of stability and tilt sensitivity. 41" handrails and convenient bars provide security and increased confidence, allowing users to feel safe while training. This device also features red steps, to help make egress and ingress easier. The Balance has a weight capacity of 500 lbs. Comes complete with control cords, padded hand grips and red elastic cords. Control cords allow you to control range of lateral movement while elastic cords provide automatic perturbation. Includes an illustrated instruction manual which features several exercise protocols. Workout programs are customizable across all ability levels by adjusting platform height, stability and degree of tilt. While the platform is sized at 24" x 30", the total footprint of the unit is small and economical at only 42" x 50".
